I have just been looking through your research resources on Montgomery and noted in your list of scholarly journal articles that my paper, Christine Trimingham Jack "Education and Ambition in Anne of Avonlea" History of Education Review, vol. 38, no. 2, 2009, pp. 109-120. is missing. You may also be interested in an address I am going to deliver on 14 Sept at the Australian National Museum of Education at the University of Canberra on Female Teachers in Classic Children's Literature: A transnational project. This annual address has a monograph attached to it which includes a significant analysis of female teachers in Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea and Anne of Windy Poplars as a source of teacher identity construction.
