Commentary and Synopsis

This new three-hour film, based on an original script by Kevin Sullivan, is both a sequel and a prequel to Sullivan Entertainment’s preceding trilogy of Anne of Green Gables miniseries. Now in her fifties, Anne Blythe reminisces about her early childhood in Nova Scotia when she discovers a letter hidden in the floorboards at Green Gables and makes some unexpected discoveries about herself, her family, her past, and her future. Principal photography for this three-hour telefilm occurred in October and November 2008. The telefilm is slated for release on CTV in Fall 2008, but a broadcast date has not yet been announced.
